Printful's print-on-demand technology (POD) makes it possible for you to print just one graphic tee or many, using your own art, photos, or purchased graphics. You upload your artwork, and they will print your shirt and mail it directly to you or your intended recipient. This is a great option if you're looking to make t-shirts for a family reunion, wedding party, or other special event!

Even large online t-shirt retailers like Life is Good and Redbubble are using POD. It allows for businesses to offer a ton of options, and cut down on wasted inventory.

So here's what you do:

1. Go to Printful.com and click on the "Order for yourself" button

2. Select "Explore Products"
3. That'll take you to shop by collection and you can select whatever you're looking for. I'm going to click on Women's Clothing -
4. Select your desired collection. Ex. I'm selecting Women's T-Shirts.
5. Select a shirt model that you want. Ex: I'll choose the Bella 3001 T-shirt, which is a unisex shirt, so it also falls under the men's category.
6. Once you're in there, click on the "Start Designing" button(very bottom right):
7. On the left side, you'll select the color and size you want, and on the right, you'll click in the center of the t-shirt to upload your design:
10. Accept the terms, and select the "Save and close" button:
11. Click the "Upload new file" button and select the file you want to upload from your computer:
12. Select this image from your Printful File Library, and click the "Apply" button that will appear over that file image when you hover over it (Apply button is not shown in the screen capture below.)
13. This will place the image on your shirt, and then you can adjust the placement and the size on the shirt. I like to use the "Grid" button on the right to make sure my image is inside Printful's printable area. Ex: Here, you can see that the image itself fits inside of the printable area:
*Here I've selected my own artwork using Procreate software on the iPad, but you can select a photo or a purchased design.
14. Select the "Add to Cart" button. (Bottom right in the image above.)
15. Click the "Continue to checkout" button:
16. Then click on the "Continue to Shipping" button:
17. The rest is like any other order you'd place online. Just fill out your shipping details and credit card information, review, and place your order.
Great! Now all you need to do is wait for your Printful t-shirt order to arrive! Sometimes they can fulfill the order that day and ship, but it usually takes a few days to print your order. Longer if it's during the holidays. You can choose standard or expedited shipping.
I hope this was helpful for you! Please let me know if you have any questions!
